FC Barcelona x Nike 20-Year Anniversary Jersey

FC Barcelona and Nike are celebrating their 20-year partnership with a commemorative jersey featuring a stylish mash-up of every home shirt of the last two decades.

The limited-edition jersey will not be worn on pitch, but it will definitely be on every Barcelona fan's wishlist.

The shirt's design nods to the club's triumphs and legendary players by incorporating numerous iterations of the famous blue and red stripes from the last 20 seasons.

Barça first signed with Nike in 1998, and the club has experienced a lot of success with the Swoosh on its shirt - 10 La Liga titles, 8 Supercopa de España titles, 6 Copa del Rey titles, 4 UEFA Champions League titles, 3 UEFA Super Cup titles, and 3 FIFA Club World Cup titles.

Nike wanted to celebrate the 20-year relationship with something special.

“This idea really came out of the blue," says Pete Hoppins, Nike Football Apparel Senior Design Director. "We wanted to do something different to celebrate the 20th anniversary. The main challenge was ensuring all the previous shirts were represented, but also that each one was carefully placed. We had to be mindful of the overall design, rather than just placing each one anywhere on the garment."

I gotta say, they hit the mark. Mashing 20 kits into 1 could have gone wrong, but it looks super clean and stylish. Bravo, Nike. Bravo.
